Canine chiropractic care is an alternative method of healthcare that can be used in conjunction with your dog’s veterinary care. Dr. Knobbs is Board Certified to treat canines and the treatments he offers have been found to be helpful with increasing
energy and improving sports performance. As with humans, dogs can have joint and misalignment issues.

When dog’s joint(s) are affected, they lose motion, which can lead to an improper position. If a dog is experiencing a misalignment, they may be suffering from pain, ranging from moderate to severe. Some symptoms that you may observe in your own dog may include any of the following:

• Lameness
• Refusal to wear their collar or harness
• Shows signs of stiffness when moving
• Favors sitting/laying a particular side
• Showing body weakness
• Dragging hind end
• Unusual behavior when petting specific areas

To help relieve your dog’s discomfort from misalignment, Dr. Knobbs can complete an adjustment. He adjusts dogs using his hands, or an activator. If your pet is suffering from internal swelling, pain, or spasms, Dr. Knobbs may suggest treating your dog with Cold Laser Therapy. Cold Laser Therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to interact with the tissue is thought to accelerate the healing process.

If your dog is exhibiting any of these signs, Dr. Knobbs suggests speaking to, or having your pet seen, by their veterinarian before making an appointment for chiropractic care.
